Founding

Our founding

Tiranga was founded in 2012 by Pragati and Ashish Mathur. They noticed that the Indian population in Bothell was growing, yet there were no opportunities for individuals to showcase their talents or feel a sense of belonging in a community. With a vision to change this, they organized the inaugural New Year Dhamaka event in December 2012. Since then, Tiranga has proudly hosted numerous cultural events that not only bring the Indian community together but also foster connections with other communities in the Greater Seattle area, celebrating diversity and unity.

Growth & beyond

Tiranga has grown into a strong and vibrant organization that stands as a pillar of cultural pride and unity in the Greater Seattle area. With each event, we continue to bring people together, celebrating the richness of Indian culture while fostering connections with other communities. Our vision is to collaborate with more organizations, reach out to neighboring towns, and expand our efforts to create an even greater impact, spreading the message of diversity, inclusion, and cultural harmony far and wide.
